photo IMG_5973_zps0b06ebbc.jpg By far one of the most amazing places I have ever been to. From the moment we had walked off the plane it felt like we had travelled back in time. The initial most notable difference was the cars, the old amazing cars. The food was Cuba's biggest downfall and what made us miss Mexico. We saw all the history and completed New and Old Havana in a day thanks to the hop on hop off tourist bus that took us to all the right places. We met Derek and Damien at Alejandro's where we were staying in Havana. Derek had spent almost a month in Cuba and already travelled to Trinidad but fortunately for us was up for the trip again and knew a guy that would illegally drive us to Trinidad from Havana. It took a whole day of driving in the sweltering hot, us 3 girls squished up in the back but it was definitely worth it. The music and people we met in Trinidad will stay with me forever. All up we spent 3 nights in Havana and 4 nights in Trinidad.
